NEW -- MOTOR FUEL POOL IMPROVEMENTS
You may elect to "Unbundle" your fuel bid requests -- this will permit each link in the fuel chain (Refiner/Supplier and Distributor/Jobber/Trucking Company) to bid what each is best equipped to handle. The Refiner/Supplier can bid the sale of physical fuel delivered to the local rack (storage facilities along the pipelines) and the Distributor can bid the delivery from the local rack to your storage tanks.
What to expect if you choose to Unbundle your bid requests

	More bids and more aggressive pricing for each component
	Greater WBE/MBE participation
	Some Suppliers may bid both, some will bid only where they can add the most value

NEW -- INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS
The use of the DEPO platform is free of charge to SLGs

	SLGs do not hire, contract with or pay DEPO a fee
	They do not cede discretion to DEPO or to any private entity
	They evaluate their own bids and accept or reject them as they have in the past
	If an SLG awards a contract, the contract is solely between the SLG and the Supplier(s) it selects

As an alternative to direct participation, some SLGs prefer to participate through an Interlocal Agreement among SLGs. DEPO and its partners now provide an easy opportunity to participate in an Interlocal Agreement with other SLGs in order to exercise the pricing leverage of a Buying Cooperative through the DEPO platform.
